About Us

Moresca has been making Medieval, Renaissance and Fantasy Clothing, Costumes and accessories for 40 years.
Our items are all designed by Lena Dun with her daughter Jo and produced in New York's beautiful Hudson Valley.

Besides myself (Lena) and Johanna, Moresca staff have been here from anywhere from 6 months to 15 years. There are the faithful retainers, the passing through and everything in between. A few real crooks but mostly decent people looking for other decent people and a livelihood that won't bore them to death. Some understand and appreciate the epic warp of the fabric, can glimpse it through the daily threads and know that they matter to this story, this time around. These pages are a tribute to them and a way for you to know us better.
